From Arketako Lepoa, we’ll take the trail that winds up along the slopes of Mount Beigañe to its summit. From there, if we look toward the eastern face of the mountain, we’ll see the tree stump that marks the entrance to the trail.

MDL is a steep, off-camber trail in true French style. Excellent grip thanks to the peat, but you’ll need good braking and bike control. Along the trail, you’ll come across some very steep sections, heavy compressions when crossing forest roads, and a small drop. Due to the slope of the landing, you’ll pick up more and more speed until you reach the berm.

Once at the bottom, we’ll return to the starting point via a forest road. This route is a good option to combine with the ‘Sorginak’ trail.
